Linking an account you own at another bank makes it easier to transfer funds back and forth. Even better, you have the flexibility of easily doing it yourself, either by logging in at Marcus.com or from the Marcus app. That means you don’t have to call us to link any of your accounts – you can do it all on your own time with just the touch of your finger.

How to link accounts from Marcus.com

  1. Log in at marcus.com.
  2. Click or tap "My Account" (look for the person symbol).
  3. Click or tap "External Accounts". You’ll see a page that says: "Manage External Accounts."
  4. Scroll down and select the link that says: "Add account."
  5. Choose "Instantly Link" or "Manually Link" to link to accounts you own.

- Instantly link is fast: You’ll search for your external bank and log in with your credentials.

- Manually link could take up to three business days: You’ll need your account number and your external bank’s routing number. You will also need to confirm micro deposits we will credit to your external bank account.

  • These micro deposits will be valid for 15 days from when you provided your external account information. If you miss the 15-day timeline, call us and we’ll send new ones.

Where to find your bank’s routing number

You can find it on your external bank’s website. Or if you’re linking a checking account, it will be a nine-digit number at the bottom of your check.

Something to keep in mind

  • Routing numbers are always nine digits long (and they need to include all the zeros that may be at the beginning of the number).
  • Bank account numbers are typically 10-12 digits long.
