The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides certain rights to California residents regarding their personal information. For more information, please click here.

If you would like to submit a request under the CCPA, please fill out the CCPA request form or call us at 1-833-971-0826.

Marcus by Goldman Sachs Bank USA’s consumer and small business products and the Marcus Invest offering of Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC received the following CCPA consumer rights requests in calendar year 2023:

  • From California residents 
    • 14 requests to know (0 complied with in whole and 14 denied*)
    • 34 requests to delete (1 complied with in whole and 33 denied*)
    • 6 requests to correct (0 complied with in whole and 6 denied*)
  • From all invididuals
    • 2,607 requests to opt-out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as defined by California law, were documented and all documented requests were complied with in whole.

The median number of days for substantive response was 1 day.

* The CCPA consumer rights to know, delete, and correct do not apply to personal information covered by certain sector-specific privacy laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and its implementing regulations, the California Financial Information Privacy Act, and the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act of 1994.  Denied requests may relate to information being subject to a CCPA exemption, our inability to authenticate requestors or other purposes permitted under the CCPA.
