Are You Prepared for Your Next Home Improvement Project?

It’s no secret that, to renovate your home, you need to spend money.

After pulling all the numbers, looking at your accounts and planning a way to finance your project, you could be left a little worried and even unsure of which options are best for you.

In a survey conducted by Marcus by Goldman Sachs®, it was found that 65% of people anticipate they’ll spend less than $10,000 on home improvements in 2018. After you add up the cost of materials, remodeling the kitchen, replacing the windows and updating the bathroom, it could easily add up to way past a mere $10,000—and that’s only for half the house.

Additionally, even after just looking at the cost, those surveyed still had concerns about financing options, such as the possibility of added fees or having to borrow against their home.

Here’s what was found:

  • 80% are worried about fees, variable rates, or borrowing against their home

But, a Marcus home improvement loan could solve some of these renovation concerns.
